歸源 (Kuiwon) posts that the indult "in the 17th century allowed missionaries in China to celebrate Mass in Classical Chinese" — Mass in Classical Chinese.

I just got a copy of the hard-to-find 1949 decree of the Holy Office allowing the Roman Missal to be translated into Classical Chinese. I'll be posting it soon on Rorate Caeli.
