And let's consider the fundamental question:
The origin / backing of the American dollar in our Keynesian system.
The reason why we have such a large MIC is because without it the dollar would die. It is the "gold standard" for the dollar. The absolute bedrock in this Keynesian nightmare.
Unless and until a critical mass of anti-war camps recognize that, nothing will change. Sadly, many on the Left of that spectrum don't realize that the very Keynesian apparatus they need to implement their socialist daydreams lead directly to the MIC.
