The above, "meaning bamboo swaying in the wind," by the "prominent painter active during the mid-Joseon 16th century," is included in the report about a local exhibition on the "four noble plants," whose "characteristics are said to have something in common with human virtue, including righteousness, strength, purity and modesty" — Noble plants, human virtue.
