Non-Conspiracy Theories

  • "One of the more remarkable (but little remarked) non-events of the last decade was that when no Weapons of Mass Destruction turned up in Iraq after the 2003 invasion, nobody planted any," says Steve Sailer, "imagin[ing] a lot of possible reasons" — The Iraq WMD Non-Hoax.

  • Thomas Fleming says "it now appears that a Navy Seal Death Squad was sent in with orders to kill Bin Laden unless they found him entirely naked" — Rule By Assassination II. "Unarmed, he was taken into custody and executed."

  • "Most Americans that are cheering the killing of Osama bin Laden are in the same breath mentioning the attacks of 9/11," writes Lawrence M. Vance, "although I don’t recall where the U.S. government actually laid out the case for his connection with 9/11" — Osama and 9/11. "On the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, there is no mention of 9/11 and bin Laden."

For the two embassy bombings alone, he deserved a wet end. I visited that Nairobi embassy several years before it was attacked. I don't know if you've met any Kenyan Christians before, but the thought of these fresh, vibrant believers being murdered by Jihadists is still just atrocious to me.

I share you feelings about those "fresh, vibrant believers being murdered by Jihadists," as my Lutheran parishes had sister parishes in Kenya and Tanzania.

Still, why Osama was never indicted on the 9/11 attacks and why he did not claim responsibility until the "Fat Osama" video are questions that need to be investigated.

Another question we deserve an answer to is why those five Israeli "art students" caught video-taping the 9/11 attacks, reported on on 9/12 by The Forward, America's oldest Jewish newspaper, were allowed to leave the country.
