Ethnic Cleansing in Libya

Carried out by the West's newest bestest friends in the whole wide world against "migrants from Somalia, Eritrea, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sudan, Chad and Ivory Coast" — Complexity of Foreign Entanglements. A Cameroonian, "fleeing from harassment by opponents of the Gaddafi regime," said, "The war is too much. They steal our property, steal our money every day. They try to threaten us to leave [Libya] or they will kill us" [emphasis added].

The MSM has referred to this issue obliquely, but has refused to tackle it head on because it would make people think about what is happening in western country.

In brief, Mr Gaddafi decided that he wanted a new people in Libya that would not have any loyalties outside his regime, poor people that owed everything to him and are personally loyal to him. Basically, he was electing a new people.

Native Libyans on the other hand are very angry their country is filling up with foreigners, correctly understanding that their birthright is threatened, and have been determined to expel all the foreigners from Libya.

The same thing is happening in western countries. I don't blame immigrants from wanting to go to live in western countries, but the governments of western countries are clearly following the same policy of Mr Gaddafi.

Well said, about "electing a new people" and all that. One of the first things to make me side with the rebels was Gaddafi's use of foreign troops against his own people.

That was before NATO took sides. Now, it seems like Bosnia and Kosovo all over again.
