Have you ever listened to Orson Welles's radio adaptation of The Man Who Was Thursday? It's a strange story to begin with, of course, but the radio medium really brings out its dream-like features. It's available online. It also has Welles's famous description of Chesterton as "the fat man, the fabulously fat, the fantastic, the famous fat man."
