Come on man, the article says that the couple has been down there for five years and the reporter who found the people published a book in 2007. In case you need a little history lesson, that would be BEFORE Obama took office. If anything it should probably be a Bushville, since more people lost jobs during his presidency.

Super Gaijin, perhaps they should be called Bush-Obamavilles, since the two men follow essentially the same economnic policy.

Of course, Obama bailed out the "too big to fails." Had McCain done that there would have been a popular uprising.

I might have found Thermoeconomics worthy of interest back when I believed in Peak Oil. Currency should be based on gold, as it has been for the better part of six thousand years. Odenskrigare is a Military Keynesian.

You mentioned the desire for "thermoeconomics." It sounds like you at least agree that a economic system based on fiat currency is unsustainable due to the requirement for ever-expanding debt and resource utilization to support it.

Am I correct?

If so, then you at least understand one obvious fact that I accept, but that the Fed Chairman and the Treasury secretary don't seem to get.
