More Blood in Baghdad

Marwa Sabah reports on the latest atrocity against the "2,000-year-old minority," "many of whom now want to flee" — Bombs kill six Baghdad Christians, sow panic.

If such a horror comes to pass, the United States has a moral responsibility to resettle these people in our country. The destruction they are threatened with is the direct result of American intervention in their country. We have a responsibility to them as a result.

No. The US first has a moral responsibility to deliver those who organized this war, and did not maintain order in the aftermath of the invasion, as was their solemn responsibility under the laws of war, to justice.

In my opinion, Pope Benedict's receiving and blessing Tony Blair is his Maciel Marcial.

Francis Xavier, also yes. Pope Ratzinger should have perhaps pulled a Saint Ambrose to Blair's Theodosius.
