LRC vs. TSA, Round 3

  • "We are making huge progress against the TSA’s scheme to make private parts public, but we must look beyond the coming victory" — We Must Not Relent.

  • Kathryn Muratore "sickened by the mother and father who stood by while their daughter was being treated like a criminal" and has "little hope that people like him will ever draw a line in the sand" — Heartened and Saddened.

    Re: Heartened and Saddened,

My word for my response to that video is nauseating. My word for the reporter that choose to do that is emasculated and depraved.

I would have to seriously consider whether I wish to fly again.

Nauseating indeed. When I watched it a second time, my impulse was to punch that gas-bag in the face. It's a pity the parents some of are given; it's enough, almost, to make an atheist of me.

I, too, "have to seriously consider whether I wish to fly again." I brought the issue up today with the "libertarian" with whom I work, who has questioned how I could follow such an "authoritarian" religion, and it turned out he was "all for" these measures, and even wanted more. He scoffed at the "puritanism" of objecting to the porno-scans.

Either the terrorists or the State, or both in collusion, have won.
