Outing Dharum Ravi and Molly Wei

It took an Andy Nowicki for me to learn the names of the persecutors of the young man who "will join Matthew Shepard in the pantheon of latter-day martyrs who suffered and died for the Holy Cause of eradicating the world of homophobia" — Tyler Clementi: GLAAD Rag. Why haven't their names been more publicized? All I can say is, this whole diversity thing is pretty diverse.

I, like the author, "am appalled by Clementi’s tormentors’ brazen behavior" and agree with him that "[i]f indeed they are found guilty of what they’re accused of doing, they should be punished to whatever extent the law permits; moreover, they should be shunned and shamed for their callous disregard for a fellow human’s well-being and their wanton invasion of his privacy." Even more so, I join the author in prayer:
God rest Tyler Clementi’s soul and comfort his grieving family. And God bless all victims of cruelty: straight and gay; black, white, brown, and yellow; exploitable or politically useless; and remembered or forgotten.

Huh? I am truly baffled by these sentiment.

I learned their names from day one (and saw their faces as well, quite prominently). In fact, I considered doing a blog post on it with the title, "The Unthinkable Molly Wei."
