Defending Chinese Characters

Mitch Moxley reports that "the oldest continually used writing system in the world [is] at stake," as "computer keyboards and mobile phones using predictive text software is so commonplace in China that students and workers are forgetting how to put pen to paper to form the elaborate strokes that make up written Chinese characters" — 'Take pen, forget character'.
