A Letter to the Faithful From Korea's First Priest

Father "Maryknoller in Korea" translates the "1847 letter sent by St. Andrew Kim to Christians while he awaited death in prison" — Letter From Prison, St. Andrew Kim Martyr. "In translating the letter, I wanted to experience the feelings of the Saint before his death," he writes. "It was an attempt to relish the words that he used in his farewell letter to the Christians."

It's actually the same letter I believe that I translated on my blog awhile back.

I remember you posting it now. Was the original in Korean or classical Chinese?

I am not too sure. I translated from the Latin found in the Novus Ordo breviary.
