Mark, I'm not sure. I've never drank decaf because of the chemical processes it takes to remove the caffeine. Is caffeine bad?

Abdul, J.S. Bach loved the drink enough to write a secular cantata about it -- J.S. Bach's "Coffee Cantata" Performed by Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart and Bach-Collegium Stuttgart, Directed by Helmuth Rilling

There are decaffeination procecesses that do not involve potentially harmful chemicals; for example, the Swiss Water Process and the CO2 process.
