So by that logic, Hinduism and Islam are legit?

Hinduism is clearly not a heresy, any more than paganism was.
I think Islam lucked out when it comes to geographical location, but it does throw a spanner into this theory.
Then there's the fact that heresies, like Slasher movie villains, just keep coming back. It doesn't matter to them that their franchises have turned into the campiest things around. (Heresy XLVII: Arius Takes Manhattan. LOL!)
